Manchester City and England Star player has been injured today in training before Euro 2024 opener game, Garath Southgate has just announced the news this evening

John Stones would be mercilessly excluded from the Euro 2024 warm-up if after fractured his foot in England’s last one.

Stones was pulled off at half-time following a strong knock early on, starting the encounter with Marc Guehi, who he is anticipated to partner in England’s Euros opener against Serbia.

Stones acknowledges he was “worried,” having fractured his foot, and instantly showed for his Euros hopes.

Fortunately, though, Stones is “feeling pretty fine” ahead of England’s opening Euro 2024 game on Sunday night and those worries were baseless.

The thirty-year-old remarked, “I was first concerned about the mechanism of events and how I fell on my foot.”

Given my landing technique, I knew it was neither my ankle or knee. You could virtually see my big toe in the line straight down my foot, and you could say “I have broken it.”

At first, you believe the worst; then, we had some scans back and [it was] rather tiny matter that passed through it, which is fantastic.

With my background of injuries and understanding how to cope with them emotionally and in that sense is incredibly helpful; I thought if I had fractured it, get the doctors, medications, injections, whatever it is, I don’t want to miss out.

If it was awful, I was ready to leave; fortunately, it was not.

Stones immediately went back to training, but his Euros suffered more when he developed an illness bug soon after landing in Germany.
