Paul Pogba finally signed one year contract with Man United as a free agent, decision taken by board last night to revive the former man United star career – Congratulations Man United fans..

Paul Pogba’s Future: A Possible Return to Manchester United?

Where Does Pogba Stand Now?

Paul Pogba has been without a club since Juventus terminated his contract last year due to a doping ban. Initially suspended for four years, his ban has now been reduced to 18 months, paving the way for his return in March. The French midfielder has been linked with potential moves to Major League Soccer (MLS), the Saudi Pro League, and even a possible reunion with Mason Greenwood at Marseille. However, former Manchester United striker Louis Saha believes a return to Old Trafford could be the best option for Pogba.

Louis Saha’s Thoughts on Pogba

During an interview with Spaceportsweden.com, Saha shared his perspective on Pogba’s next move:

“It’s an important period for Paul as the transfer window is coming to a close. He needs a club, and since he’s currently a free agent, he has the advantage of signing even after the window shuts. However, from his perspective, he’ll want to integrate with his new team and get match-fit as soon as possible.”

Saha emphasized the importance of Pogba regaining his fitness and adapting to the tactical setup of any club he joins:

“The best thing for him right now is to start training with a team, regain his physical condition, and understand his tactical role. That will be crucial for his comeback.”

He also suggested Fulham as a potential landing spot:

“Would Fulham suit him? Absolutely. They would welcome him without hesitation, and I believe he could be a significant asset for them.”

Could Pogba Return to Manchester United?

While Pogba has several potential options, Saha remains firm in his belief that Manchester United would be the ideal destination:

“If Pogba is available, trust me, I’d love to see him back at United. That’s how good he is. When fully fit, he could easily be one of the best players in the squad.”

Saha even compared Pogba’s style of play to that of Neymar, highlighting the midfielder’s ability to entertain fans:

“There are only a few players in world football who truly excite me—Amad Diallo, Neymar, and Pogba. What he brings to the pitch is rare, and that’s why I’d love to see him return and create another chapter at United.”

What’s Next for Manchester United?

As the January transfer window nears its end, Manchester United is working to offload players to make room for potential signings. The team, led by Ruben Amorim, is set to return to action against FCSB in the Europa League on Thursday.

Despite Saha’s admiration for Pogba, a return to United would be surprising, given how his last stint ended and the club’s current focus on younger, more disciplined players. While Fulham could be a more practical option due to their need for midfield creativity, Pogba’s ability to return to peak performance remains uncertain after such a long absence.

The key question remains: should Manchester United take another chance on Pogba, or is

it time for both sides to move on?
