FIFA has just announced VERY SAD NEWS for the Officials and Referees of the match between Chelsea Vs Bayern Munich after a clear Red Card was not awarded and Cole Palmer goal ruled as Offside

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca was incensed by the referee’s decision to give Bayern defender Jonathan Tah a yellow card for a foul on Joao Pedro, instead of a red card. The incident occurred in the build-up to Cole Palmer’s goal, which reduced the deficit to 2-1. Maresca argued that Tah’s challenge was a clear red card, as the defender had no intention of playing the ball and instead aimed to kick the opponent. The referee, Jose Sanchez, disagreed, stating that the foul wasn’t aggressive enough to warrant a sending off.

Maresca was adamant that the decision was incorrect and that Tah should have been shown a red card. “For me, it’s a clear red card,” Maresca said. “When there’s no intention to go for the ball, just an intention to kick another player, why is it not a red card?” Maresca was also booked for his protestations, and his frustration was evident.

Tah, however, disagreed with Maresca’s assessment, saying that if he had hit Pedro in the face, then maybe it would have been a red card. “I can understand the yellow card, it was the right decision,” Tah said.

Bayern manager Vincent Kompany had a different take on the incident, claiming that it was Pedro who should have been punished. “I wanted a foul the other way, I thought he got fouled,” Kompany said. “I thought his shirt got pulled, and I felt he was trying to free himself.”

Despite the controversy surrounding the incident, Maresca was pleased with Chelsea’s overall performance, saying that they competed well against a tough opponent. “Personally, I’m happy with the performance because we knew how difficult it was to come here against this team,” Maresca said. “We knew it was a very tough game, difficult game, but overall, I think we competed very well.”
