“I can hear some Arsenal fans saying my goal was just a lucky goal, but what i want to tell them is that…..”- Chelsea star Mykhaylo Mudryk honestly reveals what went through his mind before scoring his goal against Arsenal last weekend after watching Arsenal’s fans reaction on TV

“I can hear some Arsenal fans saying my goal was just a lucky goal, but what i want to tell them is that…..”- Chelsea midfielder Mykhaylo Mudryk candidly discloses what went through his head before scoring against Arsenal last weekend after witnessing the Arsenal fans’ response on TV.

“It was a good decision,” Mykhaylo Mudryk says of scoring a goal for Chelsea against Arsenal.
Chelsea midfielder Mukhaylo Mudryk says the coaching staff pushed him to go for the bold goal against David Raya.
Mykhaylo Mudryk finally scored his first goal at Stamford Bridge, against a team that competed with Chelsea for the Ukrainian forward’s signature.

However, if you look at the effort, you’d think it was an unintentional goal, but Mudryk has finally thrown light on his bold score against Arsenal, revealing that the goalkeeper coach urged him to look at the goaltender positioning because they sometimes miss their location.

This spurred the 22-year-old forward to contribute and make one of the most beautiful goals the fans had seen in a long time, and who knows, it could be the Premier League goal of the month.

Mudryk’s second goal for Chelsea came after the former Shakhtar Donetsk player finally broke his duck for the Blues in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Fulham.

Hopefully, his goal-scoring streak continues, and the forward appears to be full of confidence. According to Chelsea’s official website, he also offered a thorough explanation of how he was told to score his stunning goal.

‘It was something in the between, between a cross and a shot,’ says the coach. Before the game, our goalie coach instructed me to keep an eye on their keeper since he sometimes tries to read things and ends up losing the goal, so I can chip him. So that was something I was familiar with, and I kept it in mind. I chose something between the cross and the shot, and it proved to be a wise decision.”

If you saw that goal, you might think it was a fluke, but Mudryk’s admission that the goalkeeping coach told him to try that shot makes the goals even more impressive. It’s amazing how quickly he assessed the issue and realized the custodian was out of his place. Given his struggles with consistency, the goal meant a lot to him.

Mudryk’s striking ability has improved substantially, and he has now scored three goals in his last three games for club and country. He has substantially improved his hitting abilities, as proven by his goal in Ukraine’s 3-1 triumph over Malta.
