Winger has made it clear that he desires
Christian Pulisic has stated that he needs to “play and be trusted” at the club level, implying that he wants to leave CHELSEA.
In preparation for the upcoming campaign, the club may now need to reduce Mauricio Pochettino’s roster, and Pulisic is one of the players who has been connected to moves this summer.
During his time at Borussia Dortmund, the American player was heralded as the next big thing. However, things did not work out for him at Stamford Bridge, and he is currently being linked to a move elsewhere.
The USA international started just eight league games last season despite scoring 11 goals in his debut season. Since then, Pulisic’s contributions have steadily decreased.
The 24-year-old claims he “needs to figure out what’s best for my career,” but it appears he has made up his mind to quit in an attempt to get more playing time.
Pulisic told ESPN that he needed to decide what was best for his future and find a place where he could play, be trusted, and feel good about what he was doing.
“I definitely want to rediscover that joy at the club level.”
Italy is interested in the USA international; AC Milan is one of the clubs reportedly considering a move to the San Siro, according to La Gazzeta dello Sport.
It’s unfortunate that Pulisic can’t reach his full potential at the team, but let him leave if that’s his desire!
