ADVANCED CITY STORIES
He said, “Understand Manchester City are advancing to final stages of Claudio Echeverri deal, contacts taking place even today,” in a post on X, the former Twitter.
“Schedule a deal with River Plate in the same manner as Julián Álvarez; Echeverri will remain on loan.” Over €20 million worth of goods. More will come.
Julian Alvarez, who has been one of City’s best players thus far this season, helped the team achieve significant success.
In actuality, City had already agreed to a deal, but the player was initially retained by River Plate. He joined the team in the summer of 2022.
That proved to be a wise decision because Alvarez quickly settled in and had a significant impact on City.
Echeverri might be an additional gem.
This is a really exciting development, and it appears that City will soon get another outstanding young Argentine player.
Over the years, the team has undoubtedly had a lot of elite Argentine players at the Etihad Stadium; Alvarez is the most recent.
There’s no denying that Echeverri has the potential to be yet another fantastic addition, and City seems to believe that the Alvarez deal’s terms can work out similarly.
It’s all very exciting that Forbes thinks Echeverri might be the next big thing to come out of River’s talent factory. Early comparisons to Lionel Messi have also been made.
Fans should undoubtedly keep a watch on this scenario, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
