On Saturday, Chelsea easily jumped out to a 3-0 lead at Luton Town thanks to goals from Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke.
But the Blues gave up two goals in the last ten minutes of the game, almost costing us the lead.
Silva, who played the entire 90 minutes, was obviously incensed at full time and pushed a TV camera away as the final whistle went. Chelsea did manage to hold on, though.
After the match against Luton Town, Thiago Silva took to Instagram to explain why he was feeling irritated, writing, “Every professional athlete will always be pushing themselves harder and thinking they can do better.”
“In a very contested league, three points are won by the fine details. I apologise; I just didn’t want to spend New Year’s the same way I did Christmas. ????
