Manchester United Legend And FLOP Manager Wayne Rooney has been tipped to get shock Premier League job
Despite been fired by Birmingham City recently, Dimitar Berbatov has faith that his former teammate will eventually be hired by Manchester United.
After managing DC United in the Major League Soccer, Wayne Rooney took over at the Championship team in October.
When the Englishman took over, Birmingham City was ranked sixth in the Championship; but, within just two months, they had fallen all the way to 20th.
Earlier this week, the club opted to fire Rooney, but in an interview with Betfair, former teammate Berbatov supported Rooney’s dream of managing United in the future.
“Wazza was fired because Birmingham is near the bottom of the table and they have high goals.” He stated.
It’s unfortunate. I understand his situation because I believe he aspires to manage, and I hope he manages Manchester United in the future.
