VERY SAD Diogo Jota news has been announced this Evening by Liverpool after been injured in training today amidst Liverpool clash against Everton. With two points behind Manchester City, looks like our title hope is over 💔 The News all Liverpool fans fears💔😠💔

Jurgen Klopp has shared concerning updates on Liverpool’s injury front before their upcoming clash with Everton.

Despite only recently recovering from a two-month knee injury, Diogo Jota will once again be sidelined following his goal in the recent victory over Fulham.

In the press conference, Klopp revealed, “Diogo scored, but he felt a niggle and now he’s facing another two weeks out.”

Further elaborating, Klopp explained, “He experienced some discomfort in his hip. It wasn’t evident during the game, but after scoring, the issue became more pronounced. While not a major setback, given the stage of the season, he’ll be absent for approximately two weeks.”

Liverpool has felt the absence of Jota’s scoring prowess, notably in matches against Manchester United. With his absence, Klopp is left with just four senior attackers for the next three fixtures, hoping to avoid further injuries during this pivotal period.

As Liverpool aims to stay in the Premier League title race until Jota’s expected return for the Aston Villa match, the onus to compensate for his absence will primarily rest on the shoulders of Mo Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, and Cody Gakpo.
