Deal with the Devil DONE? Ten Hag is done and dusted, am crying right now, what ever happen ten hag I still luv you, trust me ten we love you, what the united Devils are doing is merging out to be like merlin in the land of unknown destiny! Now for the transfers… Who are YOU buzzing about for the Red Devils this summer
Erik ten Hag will remain at Old Trafford, aiming to improve on a lackluster second season. Despite the support from Ineos, he understands the need for better results and significant signings across the field this summer.
United have identified center-back Jarrad Branthwaite, midfielder Manuel Ugarte, and striker Joshua Zirkzee as key transfer targets. Additionally, they are interested in Ademola Lookman, the former Everton and Charlton Athletic forward who recently gained attention by scoring a hat-trick to secure Atalanta’s Europa League victory against Bayer Leverkusen.
Lookman’s impressive performance has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool. According to Calciomercato, Atalanta is demanding around €60 million (£51 million) for Lookman, and the English clubs are reportedly ready to meet this price.
United’s previous dealings with Atalanta, including the acquisition of Rasmus Hojlund, could be beneficial in pursuing Lookman. Hojlund, who joined United last summer and had a promising first season, has a strong connection with Lookman from their time together at Atalanta. Hojlund praised their complementary playing styles, which could make Lookman a valuable addition to United’s squad.
While Lookman’s versatility and status as a homegrown player are attractive, the high price tag makes his signing uncertain. A move for Joshua Zirkzee might be a more practical option for United.
