Reports reaching Liverpool’s fans now, Liverpool has secretly completed the signing of £101m wonder midfielder who is better than Kelvin De bruyne and Rodri combined 😱 he is going to be Liverpool’s first and big money summer signing. He is going to be a weapon to stop Arsenal and Manchester City next 😱 They are breaking the bank to sign him!

Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has expressed enthusiastic support for his Portugal teammate Joao Neves, who has become a significant target for Liverpool.

According to Correio da Manha, the 19-year-old midfielder is a top priority for Liverpool’s summer transfer plans under new manager Arne Slot.

However, Benfica’s high valuation of $130.7 million and interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain make the acquisition challenging.

Jota and Neves recently played together in Portugal’s Euro 2024 campaign, where they reached the quarter-finals but lost to France in a penalty shootout.

Jota, confident in Neves’ talent, stated, “Joao Neves has the quality and the mindset to go really far.”

Jota had limited playing time during the tournament, featuring for just 97 minutes across three matches.

Despite his frustration with his role under Portugal manager Roberto Martinez, Jota is focused on a productive pre-season as he prepares for Slot’s first season at Liverpool.

Determined to overcome previous injury issues, he aims to stay fit and make a significant impact on the team.

Arne Slot, succeeding Jurgen Klopp, intends to maintain and enhance the winning culture established by his predecessor.

Slot stresses the importance of trophies and improvement, saying, “We’re here to win something. We’re here to become better players, to become a better team, and as an end result of that, we want to win trophies.”

This ambitious approach is expected to drive Liverpool’s efforts to acquire top talents like Neves.
