Mauricio Pochettino, manager of Chelsea, issued his opinion on Nicolas Jackson following his team’s 2-0 loss to Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.

Pochettino stated that the Senegal international must adjust after failing to score in Chelsea’s defeat to Brentford, blaming bad luck for the team’s inability to produce enough goals this season.

Jackson was unable to help Chelsea, who were defeated at Stamford Bridge by goals from Ethan Pinnock and Bryan Mbeumo.

Pochettino also criticised the absence of Christopher Nkunku, who is presently recovering from injury, in his post-match press conference.

“Not so far. Poor fortune. “Nkunku, who has demonstrated his ability to score goals, was injured in the last pre-season game,” Pochettino explained.

“Jackson is young and arrived this season and needs to adapt.”
