A twin injury setback to Manchester United could affect the team’s performance for the remainder of the season.
United’s season has been miserable due to a lackluster performance and a number of injuries. After falling behind Aston Villa in fourth place by about 11 points, the team is currently wallowing in sixth position in the Premier League.
They still have a chance to win something, though, as they play Coventry in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley soon.
The injuries to center backs Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof, however, have delivered Erik ten Hag, whose future at the team looks doubtful, yet another set of bad news.
“Manchester United center-backs Victor Lindelof and Lisandro Martinez will be out of action for at least a month due to muscle injuries,” the club said in a statement.
