Manchester United FLOP Marcus Rashford has brutally replied to Garath Southgate after he was left out of the England Squad for the Euros 202
In response to his exclusion from the first England team for this summer’s Euro 2024, Marcus Rashford resorted to social media.
In favor of players like Anthony Gordon, Eberechi Eze, Jack Grealish, and Jarrod Bowen, Gareth Southgate chose to leave the Manchester United forward out of his preliminary roster.
When asked to justify his choice, Southgate said that the players in question had simply had better seasons at their clubs than Rashford, who finished the previous Premier League season with just seven goals and two assists in 33 games.
Rashford responded to the news by posting on social media.
He posted an image of the most recent England team along with the message, “Wishing Gareth and the players all the best for the up and coming (sic) competition.”
This season, Rashford has been Erik ten Hag’s usual starter. However, in April, he suffered an injury that sidelined him for four games, and in United’s last two games of the season, he was only able to play off the bench.
The abundance of offensive skill on the England team has claimed another casualty in the 26-year-old.
Jadon Sancho, United’s teammate who has performed well while on loan at Borussia Dortmund, hasn’t played for England since October 2021 after Southgate questioned his club form, and Raheem Sterling of Chelsea is still unemployed following his unexpected exclusion from the 2022 World Cup.
Rashford is one of the United players who is allegedly up for grabs this summer at the club level for the appropriate price. 90min is aware that Rashford is considered by Paris Saint-Germain as a possible Kylian Mbappe substitute.
