Manchester City ‘ready’ to sell one of their biggest ever signings just one year after bringing him to the Etihad

One year after attracting one of their greatest acquisitions, Manchester City is “ready” to let go of him.

This season, Man City won the Premier League for the fourth time in a row.

The Blues want to make some changes before the 2024–2025 season, despite winning yet another league championship.

There have been rumors of a surprise move away from the Etihad by one of the team’s most important and prominent players.

Additionally, it seems that the team is open to bids for Matheus Nunes, who signed a £53 million contract last summer after leaving Wolves.

But this season, Nunes only made 28 appearances in all competitions, including 17 league contests for Pep Guardiola’s team.

He only made seven league starts, and rumors have it that he may not play for Man City in the future.

Graeme Bailey claims that they are willing to let go of their Portuguese midfield player this summer.

According to the source, Man City could already be open to cutting their losses on the youngster.

Super agent Jorge Mendes is representing Nunes, and he is weighing his options in advance of the summer transfer market reopening.
