After a dismal campaign for Chelsea last year, manager Mauricio Pochettino has poked fun at his predecessors, Frank Lampard and Graham Potter.
Pochettino has attributed his lack of success to the events that transpired prior to him at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea had a dismal season last year, finishing 12th overall. As a result, there is a negative vibe at the Bridge.
Pochettino acknowledges that in order to improve the environment at Stamford Bridge, his team must begin winning.
Before they faced Middlesbrough in their Carabao Cup quarterfinal second-leg, he declared: “We are now paying for the effect of the 18 months before my time.”
