Finally, the relationship between Manchester United and Anthony Martial has come to an end. The star player left Old Trafford this morning, and FABRIZIO ROMANO has disclosed the reasons for his departure

Although it’s unclear if Antony Martial will depart Manchester United in January or June of 2024, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that he will.

At the end of the current campaign, Martial’s contract with Manchester United expires, and Romano claims there is no possibility it will be extended.

Although no clubs are now willing to pay both his salary and a transfer price, United would be open to moving him in January.
However, if a trade isn’t made this month, a Bosman transfer at the end of the campaign is assured.

“I believe he will be leaving Manchester United.” Romano stated, “I don’t think Martial will be at Manchester United past the summer of 2024.

The plan is therefore to split ways, in which case United will search the market for a new striker.

“Martial’s departure is always expected, though, and this is probably something that both sides need.”

Despite a few successful runs, Martial has never really lived up to his potential. He became the most expensive teenager in history when he signed with Manchester United in 2015.
Especially the last few years have been a complete nightmare for him at Old Trafford.

In the last three and a half seasons, he has only scored 12 goals in the Premier League. In the 2023–24 campaign, he has only scored two goals in all competitions.
He has scored 90 goals for the team in 317 games overall. He is a ninth-year Manchester United player. His birthday isn’t until December 28.

At United, Martial has won four trophies, all of which are regarded as very insignificant victories. These are the 2017 Europa League, the 2016 Community Shield, the 2016 FA Cup, and the 2017 League Cup.
