Manchester City Star Julian Alvarez has finally responded to the rumours flying around after he was being linked to Chelsea

As the Blues agree to a £42 million deal for the striker, Julian Alvarez reacts to a potential Chelsea switch – CHELSEA 247
With 17 goals in the team’s treble-winning 2022–23 campaign and a record-tying 19 goals in their Premier League title-winning 2023–24 campaign, the 24-year-old forward for City has had two incredible seasons at the Etihad.

Even though the Argentine mostly filled in for Golden Boot winner Erling Haaland last season, just seven Manchester City players played more minutes than the Argentine.

With an amazing 90 goals in 98 games for City, Haaland seemed improbable to topple Alvarez. Rumor has it, though, that Haaland may depart the Etihad in search of consistent playing time.

A number of teams were apparently interested in the 24-year-old, including Chelsea, who made it a priority to sign a new attacker this summer after Nicolas Jackson’s patchy play.

Alvarez has now denied rumors that he could relocate to West London and that he is content to remain with the Citizens over the summer.

Alvarez remarked, “These are things that are spoken, but I am peaceful, at ease, and pleased at City,” in an interview with ESPN. We’ll watch to see what transpires.

Alvarez was also rumored to have been connected to Paris Saint-Germain, who are trying to find a worthy successor for Kylian Mbappe, who moved to Real Madrid last week.

Chelsea Agrees Throughout Terms

Colombian media state that Jhon Duran, a striker for Aston Villa, has agreed to a £42 million contract with CHELSEA.

We had shown interest in signing Duran during the January transfer window, but were unable to complete a deal because Aston Villa was unwilling to allow its best player to depart midway through an extremely competitive season.

However, Guillermo Arango of Colombia reports that the club and Villa have now agreed on a £42 million transfer deal. The team is looking to add a striker this summer.

According to Arango, Duran and I are now negotiating his contract.

Jonathan Herrera, Duran’s agent, stated in a statement last month that the striker was dissatisfied with his limited playing time at Villa.

“He is a player with a contract with Aston Villa; he performed really well and the coach is relying on him. It’s a tremendous opportunity for the club to be in the Champions League, but we know he wants to play; we’ll see,” To El VBar Caracol, Herrera said.

“As the market opens up, the club and we are both considering our alternatives.”
