Victor Gyökeres Set for Summer Move to Manchester United After Verbal Agreement
Manchester United has reportedly secured an agreement to sign Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting Lisbon, with the Swedish striker expected to join in the summer transfer window.
Despite facing challenges in the forward position this season, United’s management refrained from making a high-profile signing in January, as Gyökeres’ transfer was already in progress. The club has now finalized personal terms with the 26-year-old, who has been in outstanding form, scoring 34 goals across all competitions this season.
Gyökeres moved to Sporting from Coventry City in 2023 and quickly became a key figure in the team, thanks to his pace and clinical finishing. Even with the departure of manager Rúben Amorim, his goal-scoring ability has remained consistent, keeping him in the spotlight.
