He’s back to training now and will probably play against Nottingham Forest”: Manchester United’s coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed a big injury boost for Man United as talented youngster returns to training despite doctor’s out of the season prediction. I’M CURRENTLY SHEDDING TEARS OF JOY 😭

Manchester United’s head coach, Rúben Amorim, is set to welcome goalkeeper Altay Bayindir back into the squad after nearly two months on the sidelines. The Turkish international, who has primarily served as André Onana’s backup, has only made six appearances this season, including three in the Carabao Cup. His standout performance came during the FA Cup third-round clash against Arsenal, where his impressive display played a key role in securing victory for the Red Devils. Even Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, acknowledged Bayindir’s exceptional performance that night.

However, the 26-year-old has been out of action since early February, leaving Amorim short of goalkeeping options, especially with third-choice keeper Tom Heaton also sidelined. Fortunately, according to club insider ‘Sully,’ Bayindir has been making remarkable progress in training, hinting at an imminent return to the matchday squad.

“Altay returned to grass training last week, and his recovery has been going well. His fitness levels have improved significantly, and he has been concentrating on strength and rehabilitation work,” Sully shared on social media.

Alongside Bayindir, several other Manchester United players are in various stages of their recovery:

Harry Maguire: The defender resumed grass training on Monday and is expected to be available for selection soon.

Kobbie Mainoo: The young midfielder has returned to training and is nearing full match fitness.

Luke Shaw: The left-back has been on the training ground since last week but still has some rehab work to complete before being cleared to play.

Leny Yoro: Showing promising signs in his recovery, but it is uncertain if he has resumed full training.

Amad Diallo: Expected to rejoin group training next month after recovering from an ankle injury.

Jonny Evans: Progressing in his rehabilitation but remains slightly behind his teammates.

Ayden Heaven: Avoided a severe injury but will still be out for a few weeks.

With multiple players nearing a return, Amorim will soon have more options at his disposal as Manchester United prepares for crucial upcoming fixtures.
