After a full-time brawl at Goodison Park following Chelsea’s defeat to Everton, the striker was dragged away from Patterson.
Jackson was enraged by his team’s failure, and Patterson bore the brunt of his rage.
The attacker has struggled at Stamford Bridge since joining from Villarreal, and Chelsea’s defeat dropped them to 12th, closer to relegation than the top four.
Chelsea was concerned that Jackson’s throat grab would be worsened by retroactive action.
However, the FA has ruled that the incident was dealt with at the time and sees no cause to charge Jackson again.
It implies Jackson will be available for the holiday season.
Following the loss on Merseyside, Mauricio Pochettino stated that he intended to enhance his team in January.
‘We must be more assertive. Then it’s a major evaluation, and when the transfer window opens, we’ll see what we can do,’ he explained.
