Coming from Fabrizio Romano Manchester United has terminated the contracts of Eric Ten Hag and Andre ONANA this morning, as the new manager, arrived at Old Trafford to take over the club

Concerns have been raised about Andre Onana’s play in Manchester United’s recent games after he committed two costly mistakes that allowed Galatasaray to score.

If Onana weren’t the custodian, United would probably be in a stronger position going into their last Champions League group match.

The errors that led to Casemiro’s dismissal against Galatasaray and Bayern Munich’s first goal have cast doubt on Onana’s dependability.

Even though he has displayed moments of brilliance, like his game-saving penalty save against FC Copenhagen, his mistakes have overshadowed his accomplishments.

Onana is talented and has won the Champions League with Inter in the past, but his constant errors are starting to worry people.

More of his mistakes have resulted in goals since the 2018–19 season than any other goalie in the competition.

Although the Dutch manager has refrained from criticising Onana alone for the team’s recent troubles, ten Hag must be thinking about the goalkeeper’s place in the lineup.

In order to qualify, United must now rely on other outcomes in their final group match; they must defeat Bayern Munich and hope for a draw in the other game.

Onana’s inconsistent play has made United’s already vulnerable squad seem much more questionable. He is a valuable member of the team, but his attention span problems have been expensive.

It’s unclear if Ten Hag will stick with Onana or look at other choices to solve the team’s goalkeeping problems.
