Borussia Dortmund blame Jadon Sancho’s slow start on Man Utd as sporting director Sebastian Kehl compares Erik ten Hag-enforced absence to ACL injury.

After joining Borussia Dortmund in January, Sancho scored his first goal on Saturday as the German powerhouse defeated Werder Bremen 2-1. With a fantastic piece of talent, the Manchester United loanee went past Bremen defender Julian Malatini and found the back of the net.
Sebastian Kehl, the sporting director of Dortmund, praised Sancho’s skills once the English winger eventually found success. He even held the Red Devils and their manager, Erik ten Hag, accountable for the player’s near-complete absence from the pitch throughout the first half of the season.
After the game, Kehl told reporters, “You can obviously see what a great footballer he is by doing something like that.” It’s evident how he can have an impact, particularly in one-on-one settings. Because they could see how hard Jadon was working and how eager he was to support the squad, everyone is delighted for him. Objectives are useful. Although he has previously contributed one or two assists, this goal will support and encourage him.
“Remember that he was out of the game for a while. It’s comparable to a player missing a significant amount of time due to a cruciate ligament injury. We shall need him once more on Wednesday and in the upcoming weeks.
