Transfer News

According to Prominent Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Marcus Rashford’s time at Manchester United as the forward flies to his new club to Finalize Transfer deal. This deal has been anticipated by the fans and it is amazing it finally happened. Finally, Good riddance 🙏💯 We don’t need such lazy players anymore 😭🙏

AC Milan is reportedly making moves to bring in Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford during the January transfer window. The Italian giants are looking to create space in their squad by offloading players as they target the England international, who is eager for a fresh start after losing his place under United manager Ruben Amorim.

Rashford’s Next Chapter

Rashford, now 27, has shown a strong preference for a switch to Milan, turning down offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia and Turkey. However, his high wages pose a significant challenge. Currently earning £325,000 per week under a contract that runs until 2028, Rashford’s salary far exceeds Milan’s wage structure, where the highest-paid player, Alvaro Morata, earns £150,000 weekly. Milan is exploring a loan arrangement but remains reluctant to cover even half of his salary.

Squad Reshuffling at Milan

To facilitate Rashford’s potential arrival, Milan plans to part ways with forward Noah Okafor. The Swiss international is set to join RB Leipzig on an initial loan deal, with an option for a permanent transfer worth €25 million (£21 million) by summer. Having joined Milan from RB Salzburg in 2023 for €15.5 million (£13 million), Okafor no longer features in the club’s future plans, and his departure would help free up resources.

United’s Perspective

Manchester United appears open to Rashford’s departure, with co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe emphasizing that all players have a price. Despite scoring seven goals and providing three assists in 24 appearances this season, Rashford hasn’t featured since December 12. In a candid statement, the forward expressed his readiness for a new challenge while maintaining respect for United, saying, “When I leave, it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings.’ You won’t hear any negative comments from me about Manchester United—that’s just who I am.”

Negotiations in Progress

Dane Rashford, the player’s brother and agent, has been negotiating in Italy to finalize the deal. Milan views Rashford as a key addition to strengthen their attack, but the financial aspects of the move remain unresolved. With the transfer window closing on February 3, Milan must act quickly to overcome these hurdles and secure the player’s signature.

This potential move could prove decisive for both Rashford and Milan, marking a fresh start for the player and a significant boost for the

club’s ambitions.
