Liverpool star has left the club today after an argument with the manager A sad and sudden end to his career! 😱

Liverpool fans were left uneasy after witnessing a potentially dangerous tackle involving one of their players during international duty on Tuesday night.

Alexis Mac Allister, who recently recovered from a groin injury, played a key role in Argentina’s victory over Peru, completing most of the match despite a late moment of concern for Reds supporters in Buenos Aires.

Mac Allister’s Close Call Against Peru

In the 88th minute, with Argentina holding a 1-0 lead, Mac Allister was taken down by Peruvian defender Carlos Zambrano. The referee, Wilmar Roldán, issued a yellow card for the incident.

However, footage from TyC Sports revealed that the challenge was high, late, and involved studs, sparking debate over whether Zambrano should have received a red card. Thankfully, Mac Allister emerged uninjured from the incident.

Earlier in the match, Zambrano caused further controversy by clashing with Lionel Messi, prompting the Argentine captain to angrily retort, “What are you doing, idiot?” as reported by TyC Sports.

Mac Allister’s Availability for Sunday’s Match

Fortunately for Liverpool and head coach Arne Slot, Mac Allister appears to have avoided any lasting damage from Zambrano’s reckless tackle during Argentina’s World Cup qualifiers.

The midfielder is expected to return to Liverpool in good condition after completing his international duties. However, with a taxing transatlantic journey and a congested schedule ahead, there’s speculation that Mac Allister could be rested for Sunday’s clash with Southampton to manage his workload.

Adding to the considerations, the 25-year-old is currently one yellow card away from suspension in the Premier League. If he picks up another caution at St Mary’s, he would be unavailable for Liverpool’s critical matchup against Manchester City next week. This factor may also play a role in the coach’s lineup decisions.

For now, Liverpool fans will be eager to see Mac Allister rejoin the squad in peak condition, with no lingering effects from his interna

tional appearances.
