Chelsea have got just four points in four games so far in the Premier League and there is no doubt that things need to improve for Mauricio Pochettino and his team.
The squad is new and young, and of course, everyone knows that it can take time to blend it all together. But they still need to be doing better than four points in four opening games.
Everyone is having their say, and former Chelsea defender William Gallas in not happy with what he has seen so far and he believes that the club have made a mistake by having too many young players and not enough experienced players in the squad and as a result, thinks they do not really know what they are doing.
In words cited by ChelseTransfer, Gallas said: “You can’t win the Premier League with only young players who don’t have experience. You need a mix. Only 4 players have that experience to help win the Premier League: Thiago Silva, Raheem Sterling, Reece James and Ben Chilwell. All the rest are young.
“It feels like Chełsea don’t really know what they are doing. They have bought a lot of young players, give them 7-8 year contracts, and it looks like they are thinking about the future, instead of thinking about trying to win the Premier League this season”
