He should leave my club with Immediate effect,His Errors are too much’: Manchester City owner seriously warns Pep Guardiola to offload Two first team player by January along with Kelvin Phillips or He will lose His job
Kalvin Phillips, a $14 million Man City player, is reportedly also thinking about leaving because he wants to start more games.
Currently, Kalvin Phillips and Julian Alvarez are debating whether or not to leave Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.
According to SPORT in Spain, that is.
What has happened to Julian Alvarez recently? Let’s look at this…
What’s the premise?
The £14.1 million Argentina international is reportedly not completely content with Manchester City, according to the Spanish news portal.
Alvarez is currently in Erling Haaland’s shadow, but SPORT believes he would like to be one of the first names on the teamsheet somewhere and a primary main.
According to reports, Real Madrid and Barcelona have already spoken with the 23-year-old’s representatives in an effort to capitalize on the circumstance.
Alvarez is prepared to wait until the 2023–24 season is over to see how his status stands then before making a scene and putting pressure on anybody, according to SPORT.
According to the report, Barcelona would probably have trouble finding the money to sign the Argentine unless there is a significant sale at Camp Nou.
This rumor coincides with a report from ESPN that Phillips is also evaluating his future at Manchester City after being passed over by Pep Guardiola while Rodri was out with an injury.
Julian Alvarez would be allowed to depart Manchester City.
If SPORT’s assertion is accurate, Guardiola would probably release Alvarez.
The Spaniard has repeatedly stated that he does not want to keep dissatisfied players around since he will not be able to get the greatest performance out of them if they have that attitude.
Guardiola was cited by the Manchester Evening News as saying: “If you force one person to stay when he doesn’t want to stay, how can you get the best out of him?” after Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Raheem Sterling left. It is not possible.
In light of this, if Alvarez is truly feeling defeated by Haaland in 2024, he may decide to leave.
