Football Superstar has been for one week after he refused to Shake Hands with the Club Head Coach
A video has emerged of Chelsea loanee David Datro Fofana arguing with his manager after being replaced during last night’s Champions League match.
‘Gervinho CFC’ tweeted a photo of the forward brushing past coach Urs Fischer after he was substituted in the group stage play last night.
Fofana has yet to make an appearance for the Bundesliga club, having only played 10 games in total.
They returned to Champions League action last night, facing Napoli knowing they needed a win after losing their first two games.
Despite the absence of Victor Osimhen, who is unhappy at the club and has been linked with Chelsea in the forthcoming transfer window, their opponents won 1-0.
Fofana played 70 minutes, and it was his chance creation more than his ability to find the net that stole the show.
Fofana had a disagreement with the manager.
He thought he had provided a terrific assist after skipping past several players on a fantastic run from the right. However, it was brought back earlier in the move for an offside.
He was replaced after 70 minutes and plainly upset with the decision, storming to the bench and making contact with his manager on the way.
This is clearly a symptom of his unhappiness, as his loan stay at a Champions League club has not gone as well as everyone would have wanted.
With Chelsea apparently considering signing a striker, the 20-year-old will have hoped that he could have delivered a stronger statement by now.
The Blues are apparently considering a move for either Osimhen or Ivan Toney, with the latter being the more likely option if they want to address the issue in January.
