Fabrizio Romano says Chelsea is now competing with up to 10 other teams to sign a very good attacker.
A source told CaughtOffside that many top clubs are interested in winger Antonio Nusa, and the Blues have been one of them for a while.
It was reported that Chelsea tried to sign Nusa last summer. This was part of their plan to get the next generation of top players before their competitors do.
It has been said, though, that the Norway international turned down a move to Stamford Bridge late in the previous transfer window, which has never happened before for the Blues.
The man came forward and said that he was offered a lot of money to move to England, but that wasn’t what he wanted at the time.
It will be interesting to see if that is still true for the Club Brugge player during the next few transfer windows, when a big move looks more likely.
Romano has said, though, that they won’t be the only ones interested in the kid.
He said, “Not just Chelsea, but about ten other top clubs in Europe are also after Antonio Nusa.” It makes sense—he’s one of the best wingers in the world—but I’ve been told it won’t happen soon or in January. More likely, it will happen in the next few months.
But the player’s skills speak for themselves, as shown by his rapid rise to fame this season.
People have called him “fearless,” which means he’s not afraid to make a difference whether he’s playing for his club or his country with Erling Haaland.
