DONE DEAL ✅Chelsea have just ANNOUNCED the signing of £18million Newscastle player in Shocking scene this evening-medicals has been booked player will arrive in London Two years contract signed
Wilson’s future has become less clear this month as Newcastle has had to sell players to make sure they don’t break the Premier League’s rules on profit and survival.
Newcastle has spent more than £400 million on new players since the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund took over in 2021. Wilson is one of several first-team stars who have been linked with a January departure as the Magpies try to balance their budget. Miguel Almiron, Kieran Trippier, and Jamaal Lascelles are also linked with moves away.
Newcastle might be ready to sell the 31-year-old for as little as £18 million, which has made their Premier League rivals very aware of a possible deal that is too good to pass up.
In the past few seasons, Wilson has become one of the most reliable and sought-after goal makers in England. Chelsea is said to be very interested in the striker.
There have been reports this week that Arsenal and Manchester United are also keeping a close eye on things as they look for new attackers. Both teams have long admired the England player.
“That was a weird one.” “A lot of talk, and a lot of it not true,” Howe told reporters at his pre-game press conference on Friday when they asked him about the rumours about Wilson.
Callum Wilson watches the game against Newcastle.
With 46 goals in 102 games for the Magpies, Wilson is a great player.
“He’s a big part of what we do from our end.” We need our two strikers to get better as soon as possible.
“He’s getting close to coming back from injury and looks good.” He is getting there.
“I don’t want to lose him at all.”

“In every conversation, he’s 100% committed,” Newcastle’s head coach said. He is not looking anywhere else.
“He wants to do great things, and we want to keep him here.” We can’t change everything, though.
“The club has to act in the best interests of the club in the long term.” “Let us see what takes place.”
Wilson has also gotten a lot of attention from big clubs in Europe. AC Milan and Atletico Madrid are both interested in making a deal for the former Coventry City shooter.
Wilson has been capped nine times by England. He moved from Bournemouth to St. James’ Park in 2020 and has scored 46 goals in 102 games across all categories for the Toon.
Wilson signed a new one-year deal with Newcastle in September that will keep him there until 2025.
During his news conference, Howe also talked about the rumours about Trippier’s future. He made it clear that the England international has never asked to leave the club, even though there have been constant rumours linking the full-back with Bayern Munich.
“Something to say about Kieran’s case.” “He is very much a part of our long-term plans, and we hope he will stay,” he said.
“But I need to be clear: he has never asked to leave or even thought about what would happen to him here.”
“Every time we’ve talked in the past week, it’s been about Newcastle.” That needs to be made clear. No one should doubt his dedication to Newcastle.
