According to reports, Bruno Guimaraes, a midfielder for Newcastle United, is a target for Manchester City.
The Brazilian international has already acknowledged that he dislikes playing against City because the Magpies feel like “children” playing against a team of fifteen players every time they play them.
The 26-year-old has, meanwhile, also shown his respect for Ilkay Gundogan, saying that he has respected the German since Borussia Dortmund days.
Manchester City is considering signing Bruno Guimaraes, who is valued at £100 million.
He has made a name for himself as one of the top midfielders in the Premier League and even in all of European football since joining Eddie Howe’s team in 2022.
Guimaraes signed a contract extension with Newcastle in October of last year, linking him to the team until 2028.
But as they look to bolster their midfield in the summer, Football Transfers has revealed that Manchester City is interested in signing Bruno Guimaraes.

Moreover, it has been reported that Pep Guardiola considers the former Lyon technician to be a “big fan.”
The midfielder, who was born in Rio de Janeiro, reportedly wants to join with Real Madrid or Barcelona after the season and leave Newcastle.
However, it’s thought that these actions are improbable at this time.

Paris Saint-Germain has also been mentioned as a potential suitor, but a transfer to Chelsea or Liverpool has been discounted in Guimaraes’ instance.
