VERY SAD News has been announced for Manchester United FLOP Antony this evening as Erig Ten Hag wants him out of Manchester United this summer
After a rough spell at Old Trafford, Brazilian team Flamengo is allegedly mulling a loan transfer to sign Manchester United winger Antony.
Since joining Manchester United last season, the former Ajax player has had a huge collapse and doesn’t resemble the thrilling talent we witnessed in the Eredivisie.
As reported by Sport Witness and translated by journalist Julio Miguel Neto, it appears like Antony’s future at United is already seriously in jeopardy. Flamengo is reportedly interested in signing him to a one-year loan.
The 24-year-old might still be able to salvage his career with the correct move, and going back to his home country of Brazil might be the best course of action for him right now.
Since Antony’s time at United has obviously not been fulfilling, the team would be well to grant him a loan that will merely put him on display for a while in the hopes of eventually receiving a respectable amount from his sale.
What went wrong for the Brazilian winger at Manchester United during the Antony transfer?
Not only did Antony appear to be a gifted player at his previous team, Ajax, but he also had that form under Erik ten Hag, who was his manager in Manchester as well!
It is therefore somewhat surprising that Antony is struggling so much after accompanying the Dutch strategist to Old Trafford, however it’s possible that he has been affected by issues off the pitch.
Goal and other media outlets have stated that Gabriela Cavallin, Antony’s ex-girlfriend, has levelled extremely serious accusations against the player, which at one point involved the police.
