Chelsea Manager Mouricio Pochettino has been Sacked this Evening in shocking scene after before Thier FA clash with Leicester City Tomorrow and his replacement has been named
Due to Chelsea’s appointment of Bernardo Cueva, Mauricio Pochettino may be headed for conflict with the club’s owners. Pochettino maintains that he will determine whether the new set-piece coach would stand on the touchline.
The Blues have given Brentford a compensation payment of approximately £750,000, and Cueva will be tasked with creating a new set-piece department for the team.
Toni Jimenez, Chelsea’s custodian coach, has been in charge of set pieces up until now. Pochettino has downplayed the significance of this position in the past.
However, only a few teams in the Premier League, including Aston Villa’s Austin MacPhee and Arsenal’s Nicolas Jover, have a dedicated coach on the sidelines. These coaches are frequently heard yelling instructions before to set pieces.
Even while Pochettino says he is in favour of Cueva’s hiring, the Argentine coach is certain that he will decide whether or not the set-piece coach participates actively in games.
“As the head coach, I will make the decision about who will accompany me and whether to add more players to the touchline,” added Pochettino.
“Jesus Perez, his assistant, works on them sometimes; I work on them sometimes.” Our coaching team already works with set pieces. We work in more than just the tactical area and the gym.
He went on: “The owner and sporting directors came up with the idea for Cueva’s arrival, and we fully support it.”

We are aware that the club wants to strengthen the two individuals here by creating a worldwide area concerning set pieces. We would be grateful if someone could stop by and share their knowledge with us in order to improve. We are unable to disregard the things that could improve us and possibly even help us win games.
We work a lot on set pieces,’ Pochettino said when he questioned the need of specialised set-piece coaches barely a month ago. The player’s calibre is what matters next. The takers are the key.
“There isn’t a specialist here.” Ben Chilwell, who goes by Chilly, might be good in the delivery, but we don’t have a specialist after that. We work a lot if you want to be proficient with set-pieces. Then again, you need good acceptors.
“When you have good takers, which Wolves obviously do, as do other teams like Manchester City.” It has nothing to do with labour. Our methods of operation are comparable. Nevertheless, finding good takers is the issue.
“We have coaches who are specialists.” We are the all-powerful coaching staff. A specialist is something you can have and advance. Alternatively, you might have the expert but not advance them. Depending on how you wish to present the concept of working with set pieces.
We work hard and have a lot of resources, including a specialist, a team of set-piece analysts, and coaching personnel. Then there is the issue of quality. We were now discussing our search for a capable specialist [player] for the upcoming campaign.
“Observe West Ham both before and after.” What altered? both prior to and following? It isn’t equivalent. It’s [James] Ward-Prowse who takes. Is he Pochettino, then? Prowsey takes things far better than I do. You can work, just as West Ham was working, without a doubt. However, the percentage increases when you include a player such as him. That’s how football works. The players own football. Not to the experts.
