FIFA has just announced VERY SAD NEWS for the Officials and Referees of the match between Aston Villa vs Westham and this have cost them thier Job

A lengthy VAR check resulted in the precious winner for West Ham against Aston Villa being disallowed for a handball.

Deep into stoppage time, the Hammers shoved the ball over the line and spun away in jubilation at a victorious London Stadium.

But when the goal was checked for a handball on the goal-line, the applause turned to moans.

Those at Stockley Park seemed to take a long time deciding what needed to be done in east London.

Referee Jarred Gillett was eventually instructed to glance at the screen.

And after he saw, he concluded that the objective could not continue.

After a check that lasted about six minutes, West Ham’s manager, David Moyes, cut a frustrated figure.

The inspection was called “ludicrous” by talkSPORT reporter Ian Abrahams, while Andy Townsend questioned, “Was he looking for handball or fingerprints?”

After the game, talkSPORT questioned Moyes on if time camps for VAR checks should be implemented in the midst of a goal that is scored and then disallowed that long.

“I believe you should go to VAR about that; if you’re having trouble getting Howard Webb’s number, you might try asking some of the other referees; they might be able to clarify things for you.

“As I mentioned earlier, we have now experienced four handball scenarios in a row where things have not gone our way. There isn’t much more to say about it than that.

“Villa improved in the second half, outperforming the other team for spells. Overall, I was quite happy with our performance.”

Rio Ferdinand says he thinks “it could end in tears” when West Ham fires David Moyes.
West Ham had seen an earlier goal from Michail Antonio similarly ruled out for handball, with the result just clearly not going their way.

After the game, the Hammers supporters let out boos, indicating their dissatisfaction with their team’s late-game tragedy.

After their 2-2 draw with Burnley in their previous Premier League match, West Ham had now lost two straight games at home.

Villa’s attempt to earn a spot in the Champions League for the upcoming season may depend on this point.
