VERY SAD News has been announced for Manchester City Star Phil Foden after he was Substituted against Real Madrid this evening

Following a tackle that left him hobbling significantly, Phil Foden is optimistic that he will be fit for Manchester City’s Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Real Madrid.

Following an exciting match at the Bernabeu on Tuesday, City will return to the Etihad Stadium with a 3-3 draw the following week. Foden’s incredible shot into the top corner tied the score for City, who were down 2-1, but Josko Gvardiol’s curling attempt gave them the lead. However, Fede Valverde’s exquisite volley tied the score at Manchester.

Eduardo Camavinga’s tackle from behind caused Foden to go down, giving City a late scare. With five minutes left, Pep Guardiola substituted Julian Alvarez for the striker. Foden was still experiencing the aftereffects of the challenge as he hobbled off.

After the game, however, Foden said he was positive about the knock, claiming it was a dead leg. “I hope so, I’ve got a nasty dead leg,” he said in response to TNT Sports’ question about his wellbeing. I should be able to heal in the time I have left.

When questioned about the situation, Guardiola also said, “It’s a knock, he was irritated with me because I made a substitute.” He set yet another amazing objective.

Regarding his goal, Foden said that City could wear down Real Madrid and create space for a shot because of their possession, saying, “I felt a nice connection, I always practice, sometimes they don’t go in.” It entered the upper corner today.

“We’re a little let down, particularly because we had a 3-2 lead and couldn’t hold the ball off the goal kick. Their amazing strike allowed them to score. We can make so many improvements for the second leg.
