Premier league Star have decided to Sign for Manchester City in the summer in shocking move

Lucas Paqueta, a target for Manchester City, has an £85 million release clause in his West Ham United contract, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Since last year, City has been after Paqueta, believing the Brazilian would be a great addition to their team. Paqueta, who has made 37 appearances across all competitions, has been a vital member of the Hammers, contributing seven assists and eight goals.

Ever since his 2022 arrival to West Ham, Paqueta has been an indispensable member of David Moyes’ team. The 26-year-old has established himself as a regular for Brazil and has drawn attention from numerous elite European teams due to his performance. He has made 44 appearances for the Selecao so far, tallying 10 goals and dishing out four assists.

Although they too had links to Paqueta, Manchester City signed Mateo Kovacic and Matheus Nunes in the summer. City may choose to exercise his release clause and make a major summer transfer for him. Paqueta’s contract at West Ham runs out at the conclusion of the 2026–2027 campaign.

Rodri said he was feeling exhausted and could need some rest after Manchester City’s 3-3 UEFA Champions League draw against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on April 9.

Prior to City’s April 13 Premier League home match against Luton Town, Guardiola made a suggestion that he might consider giving Rodri a break. He said (via the Man City website):

“A player will simply not play if he is not motivated to do so. There will be another participant.”
Guardiola continued:

“Look at our games and you’ll see how crucial Rodri is to us for the quality he brings.”
In addition, Guardiola said that he would prefer to rest his center defenders, save for Rodri, since the international breaks have prevented him from doing so. As usual, Rodri has been a vital member of the City team, appearing in 41 games this season across all competitions. He has 12 assists and 8 goals to his credit.
