Jose Mourinho has become manager of Premier League club today! They’ve sacked their manager and replaced him with Mourinho! 😱

Following his departure from Roma, Jose Mourinho is contemplating his next career move, with various options on the horizon. While his contract with Roma was set to conclude in the summer, sources indicate that the decision to part ways was predominantly Roma’s initiative, leaving Mourinho to explore new opportunities.

Speculation suggests a potential return to the Premier League, with Chelsea and Newcastle United mentioned as potential destinations. However, according to 90min, any immediate move to these clubs appears unlikely, as firm offers have yet to materialize.

Despite challenges faced by current managers, Chelsea’s ownership remains committed to Mauricio Pochettino, planning to review his performance post-season, while Newcastle stands by Eddie Howe amidst a difficult season plagued by injuries.

Saudi Arabia presents another prospect, with Mourinho expressing previous interest in coaching there. It’s anticipated that offers from the Saudi Pro League could arise by summer if he remains without a position. Although Al Hilal had previously entertained the idea of Mourinho, their current success makes a managerial change improbable. Nevertheless, other clubs like Al Ahli and Al Nassr, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, have expressed interest in the past.

Mourinho also contemplates coaching a national team, particularly eyeing opportunities after upcoming tournaments leading to the 2026 World Cup. Despite Gareth Southgate’s intention to continue with England, Mourinho remains open to the possibility should circumstances change.
