Having dealt a crushing blow to Erik ten Hag’s hopes of staying as Manchester United manager, Jadon Sancho has spoken about his future.

Borussia Dortmund defeated Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 in their Champions League semi-final first leg on Wednesday night in Germany thanks to a strong individual effort from Sancho.

Since returning to Dortmund on loan from United during the January transfer window, the 24-year-old has found his form again.

After a falling out with United boss Ten Hag early in the season, he returned to the Bundesliga.

September saw Sancho expelled from the first team after he repeatedly failed to apologize to the Dutch manager for his training-related misdeeds.

In response to Ten Hag’s open criticism of Sancho during a news conference, the player declared that the United manager had used him as a “scapegoat” and branded Ten Hag’s statements “absolutely incorrect.”

Later, he went on loan to Dortmund, and during the summer transfer window, he was rumored to be joining the team permanently.

When asked if he would like to stay with the team for the upcoming season, Sancho said to CBS Sports, “I’m not sure.” Right now, my attention is on the here and now.

Unintentionally, Sancho has severely damaged Ten Hag’s chances of staying at Old Trafford for the upcoming campaign.

Based on their results in European play this season, Germany and Italy will share an additional spot in the Champions League next season thanks to Dortmund’s triumph against PSG.
