Italian media sources suggest that Manchester United are seriously looking into acquiring Teun Koopmeiners in the upcoming summer transfer window. Calcio Mercato reports that the club is willing to spend between 60-70 million euros (£59.5 million) for the Dutch international.

Furthermore, CorSera, via Paisley Gates, highlights that Manchester United’s recent hefty expenditure on Hojlund showcases their financial capability to meet Atalanta’s valuation of Koopmeiners.

 

Despite Manchester United’s interest, they will face strong competition from Liverpool, who are also in a position to meet the asking price. Juventus might have an edge in this transfer race since Koopmeiners has expressed a desire to remain in Serie A.
