Everton is considering Victor Lindelof as a potential replacement for Jarrad Branthwaite. Recently, it was revealed that Manchester United had agreed on personal terms with Branthwaite, the 21-year-old Everton center-back, for a summer transfer. United initially offered Β£45 million for the England international, but Everton is expected to reject the bid.

Nevertheless, reports suggest Manchester United remains optimistic that the transfer will be finalized by the end of the month, despite Everton’s demand for a hefty Β£80 million fee. Everton has been exploring replacement options, including Northern Ireland’s Dan Ballard. However, the latest reports suggest their primary defensive target could enable United to secure Branthwaite.

According to HITC, Everton has identified possible replacements for Branthwaite, who is close to a move to Manchester United. Victor Lindelof, previously targeted by Everton, is one such option. Manchester United is willing to let the Swedish defender leave Old Trafford this summer. Lindelof has had a mixed season at United, and with the club close to acquiring Branthwaite, he might see this as the right time to depart.

Additionally, HITC mentions that Everton is also interested in Jacob Greaves from Hull City. The 24-year-old defender is among several candidates Everton is considering to bolster their defense.
