Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho planning a stunning double raid on Man United! The Special One sets his sights on Old Trafford stars to boost his squad for the upcoming season. Get ready for a transfer saga that could shake the football world!
Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, now leading Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce, is eyeing two of his former players for summer transfers.
Portuguese coach Mourinho, already linked to Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof, has also set his sights on United midfielder Casemiro for his Fenerbahce squad.
According to Turkish outlet Sporx, Fenerbahce’s sporting director Mario Branco is actively working to fulfill Mourinhoโs transfer requests. Efforts are underway to secure Lindelof, who is reportedly available for sale at Old Trafford.
Branco is also targeting defensive midfielder Casemiro, who is facing an uncertain future with the Red Devils. Despite interest from the Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer, Casemiro could leave United after a disappointing second season.
Both Lindelof and Casemiro are seen as expendable by Manchester United, with INEOS planning a significant squad overhaul this summer to reduce the wage bill.
While Casemiro was a standout in his first season, his decline in form led to his omission from the starting lineup in the FA Cup final. United, looking to refresh their squad, have been linked with defenders Jarrad Branthwaite and Leny Yoro, and midfielders Amadou Onana and Joao Neves.
