Manchester United Given Green Light!๐Ÿšจ An incredible ยฃ155m transfer raid is set to shake the football world in the next six days! Get ready, Red Devils, the excitement is just beginning. ๐Ÿ”ดโšฝ

Manchester United are observing as Premier League clubs rush to complete numerous transfer deals before the June 30 deadline, potentially planning a significant move of their own.

Four clubs โ€“ Newcastle United, Everton, Aston Villa, and Chelsea โ€“ are engaging in a series of transfers to comply with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Chelsea and Aston Villa are negotiating a deal where Ian Maatsen would move from Chelsea to Villa for ยฃ37.5 million, which would be recorded as profit for Chelsea since Maatsen has been with them since he was 16. Villa would spread this cost over five years, impacting this yearโ€™s accounts by only ยฃ7.5 million. In exchange, Chelsea is set to acquire 18-year-old striker Omari Kellyman from Villa for nearly ยฃ20 million. Kellyman, purchased by Villa from Chelsea for ยฃ600k a year ago, has seen his value skyrocket despite limited playtime.

Similarly, Villa and Everton are engaged in swaps: Villa bought Lewis Dobbin from Everton for ยฃ10 million, though his market value is around ยฃ2 million, while Everton acquired Tim Iroegbunam from Villa for ยฃ9 million, despite a lower market valuation.

Newcastle and Everton are also negotiating, with Newcastle considering a ยฃ20 million move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin and the potential exchange of Yankuba Minteh, whose value has dramatically increased to ยฃ40 million following an impressive loan spell at Feyenoord.

Manchester United is particularly focused on Everton, contemplating a second bid for Jarrad Branthwaite after Everton rejected an initial ยฃ35 million offer. United’s interest reflects a cautious approach under Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who aims to avoid overspending.

Dave Powell, a football finance writer, suggests that United have the financial leeway to make an ยฃ80 million offer for Branthwaite, spread over five years at ยฃ16 million annually. United have approximately ยฃ31 million left under their PSR limits, allowing them to spend significantly more if they choose to.

United also plan to sign a striker, a center midfielder, and a new defender. Joshua Zirkzee is a potential target to replace Anthony Martial, with a ยฃ33 million release clause activating soon.

Given their financial flexibility, United could spend up to ยฃ155 million before the month ends, taking advantage of the transfer market opportunities, essential after their disappointing eighth-place finish last season.
