Manchester United makes to sign premier league ‘UNWANTED’ striker. What happened to Joshua Zirkzee Manchester United and bad business. He’s not what we want😡🙀🙀

Manchester United is planning to add a new striker this summer to compete with Rasmus Hojlund for the upcoming season. Though Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna has been a frequently discussed option, Turkish reports indicate a different approach.

According to Sabah (page 14), Fenerbahce is aiming to sign Alvaro Morata, who has a £10 million release clause with Atletico Madrid. Fenerbahce’s strategy includes leveraging the influence of their manager, Jose Mourinho, to attract Morata, offering him an annual salary of approximately £3.8 million.

However, Fenerbahce faces stiff competition, as Morata’s agents are reportedly in talks with multiple European clubs, including Manchester United.

Should United consider Morata?

Despite Morata’s successful season last year, where he netted 21 goals and provided five assists in 48 matches across all competitions, his future at Atletico Madrid appears uncertain. The club might be looking to promote Samu Omorodion, which could push Morata to seek new opportunities. Fenerbahce is keen on reuniting Morata with Mourinho, who coached him at Chelsea. United, who have also been linked with Morata, might need to reevaluate their interest.

Although Morata had an impressive performance last season, he is now 31 years old and may soon decline. United has previously struggled with signing high-profile players on large wages, who later proved difficult to sell. Morata might be available for a lower transfer fee but demands high wages, estimated at around £220,000 per week. Even if he agrees to a pay cut, his inconsistency, especially his tendency to miss clear chances, remains a concern. During his 18 months at Chelsea, Morata missed 27 big chances in the Premier League.

Therefore, Manchester United should likely steer clear of pursuing Morata and instead look for other options to enhance their attacking lineup.
