As Kylian Mbappe gives Carlo Ancelotti a clear signal about his possible place in the team, he talks about the battle Vinicius Junior faces at Real Madrid.
In response to his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid, the 25-year-old was this week introduced to the supporters of the Spanish powerhouse, and the Frenchman fielded several questions on his decision to join Los Blancos. However, Vinicius is vying for the Ballon d’Or following an outstanding season leading Madrid in that capacity. The 25-year-old Frenchman is content to play as a center striker, but it is unclear if they will click as a unit.
Mbappe will start his preseason campaign in the upcoming weeks and then ramp up his preparations for his first season at Real Madrid in August following a lackluster Euro 2024 campaign with France, during which he also broke his nose.
