Spanish Club Athletico Madrid is Set to offer FLOP player Joao Felix in Exchange of City Star boy

According to HITC Football, Atletico Madrid is “willing to providing” Joao Felix in exchange for Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez.

After returning from a stint at Barcelona, the former Chelsea loanee is not in Atletico’s plans, yet the Premier League winners may still be able to recruit the Portuguese international.

However, nothing currently indicates that the Cityzens are eager to sign Felix, especially considering their continued desire to hang onto Alvarez.

HITC reports that despite Atletico’s interest in the Argentine attacker, Pep Guardiola’s team is convinced that he is not for sale.

Why does Atletico Madrid keep trying to purchase Alvarez?
The 24-year-old’s discontent at the Etihad is well known to the La Liga team. The striker reportedly wants to play a bigger role in the team.

Alvarez did not play in key crucial games this season, notably the final four Premier League games and the two legs of the Champions League quarterfinal against Real Madrid, despite having started 39 times in all competitions the previous season.

Alvarez is apparently eager to transfer to the Wanda Metroplitano, according to Atletico as well. He knows that Atletico would be his only choice if he wanted to play for a Spanish team because neither Real Madrid nor Barcelona are reportedly in the running for his signing.

The city’s assessment is expected to cause lengthy and drawn-out talks.
Atletico is rumored to only be prepared to pay £70 million for Alvarez in the event that Felix is not included in their bid, and that sum is anticipated to be far less than what City is requesting.

Atletico may believe they can stick to their guns in terms of how much they are willing to spend, though, since Barca, Real, and Paris Saint-Germain are not expected to engage in a bidding war.
