Manchester United are keen to sign Sofyan Amrabat permanently after his impressive loan spell last season. The dynamic midfielder showcased exceptional skills, winning the hearts of fans and management alike. However, the deal hinges on one condition: the Red Devils need to offload some players to make room for the Moroccan star. Stay tuned as the summer transfer window heats up and United’s squad reshapes for an exciting new season! 🔥

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Sofyan Amrabat permanently, but there’s a specific condition involved.

During his loan spell at Old Trafford last season, the Moroccan midfielder made 30 appearances, including just nine starts in the Premier League. Although he faced challenges throughout most of the season, his performance improved towards the end, sparking debate about a potential permanent stay at United.

The initial agreement with Fiorentina included a £16.8 million buy option, which United has opted not to activate, according to Fabrizio Romano. Nonetheless, Erik ten Hag, a supporter of Amrabat, is open to negotiating new terms with the Serie A club to secure a permanent transfer.

In May, Amrabat expressed his desire to remain at United in an interview with Ziggo Sport. He stated, “Do I already know what I’m going to do next year? No. We are going to talk. Staying is certainly an option. I think it has been a very difficult season. For Manchester United, it needs to be much better, and also for me personally. We are going to talk. Manchester United are the biggest club in the world, so who wouldn’t want to play football here? But all parties have to be happy with each other, so we will sit down now and see what happens.”

United has been active in the transfer market, securing defender Leny Yoro for £52 million and Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for £36.5 million. In a recent pre-season match, Amad Diallo and Joseph Hugill scored for United against Rangers, helping the team recover from a 1-0 loss to Rosenborg in their opening fixture.

The team is now headed to the USA to continue their pre-season preparations, where they will face Arsenal, followed by matches against Real Betis and Liverpool.
