Manchester City has just loaned out Thier £45million Star player who has more assist than Phil Foden last season

A number of players have left Manchester City during the current summer transfer window.

In particular, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Liam Delap, and Sergio Gomez have all signed long-term contracts to join other teams and left the Blues.

Additionally, City has demonstrated in past transfer windows that they have nothing against temporarily loaning out certain players to other teams.

The Blues have loaned away more experienced players like Joao Cancelo in addition to younger players like James McAtee and Josh Wilson-Esbrand in an effort to provide them regular playing time abroad.

In light of this, some behind-the-scenes information about a different player in Pep Guardiola’s team has surfaced, who may be leaving before the window shuts.

It’s expected that Man City will loan Kalvin Phillips away this summer.
The Athletic published a story on the subject recently, and it said this.

“Premier League teams are interested in Kalvin Phillips, but a loan is most likely,” the statement read.

Currently practicing in America as part of City’s preseason squad, the 28-year-old may play in their next friendlies against Celtic, AC Milan, Barcelona, and Chelsea.

Phillips needs to restart his career.
In the summer transfer window of 2022, City paid Leeds United £45 million (via Sky Sports) to acquire Phillips.

During his first season and a half at Etihad Stadium, the Englishman only made a few starts in games. In the previous January transfer window, he was loaned out of West Ham United.

Hammer striker Michail Antonio said back in April that Phillips was having confidence issues, despite the fact that he had only started three of the eight Premier League games he had played for the East London side.

Going forward, the best course of action for the midfielder would be to join a team where he would be playing frequently and get his career back on track if he isn’t expected to feature much at City the next season.

In terms of either loaning him out again or finding a team that would be ready to pay a reasonable sum to sign him, City will have to determine what their best course of action is.
