Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne receives £1million-a-week offer to leave Manchester City this summer

Playmaker Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City will turn down a lucrative £1 million per week contract to play this summer for Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.

After talking with his family about moving, the Belgian decided to remain with the Premier League winners.

Laurent Blanc, the manager of Al-Ittihad, expressed confidence in the team’s ability to recruit De Bruyne.

However, the UK Mirror claims that the midfielder will stay with Pep Guardiola’s team for at least another year since he is apprehensive about leaving his family behind.

De Bruyne and his spouse, Michele, possess “specific apprehensions over altering the education of their first son, Mason Milian.”

The 33-year-old is about to reach the last 12 months of his present deal, though.
