He Needs to retire” – Manchester United fans demand sale of midfielder who is ‘as slow as a snail’ after 1-2 Arsenal defeat 🥲😌 🔴The Red Devils grabbed an early lead via Rasmus Hojlund’s 10th-minute goal. However, the Dane was forced off with an injury six minutes later. Gabriel Jesus then leveled the scores in the 26th minute to make it 1-1. To make matters worse, new summer signing Leny Yoro also limped off with an injury in the 35th minutes

Manchester United supporters voiced their discontent with Casemiro on X, previously known as Twitter, after his lackluster display in the team’s 1-2 defeat to Arsenal. This pre-season friendly, held at the SoFi Stadium on Saturday, July 27, featured two Premier League giants.

United started strong with Rasmus Hojlund scoring just ten minutes into the match. However, their luck changed quickly as Hojlund had to exit due to an injury six minutes later. Arsenal took advantage of this, with Gabriel Jesus equalizing in the 26th minute. The situation worsened for United when their new summer signing Leny Yoro also left the field injured in the 35th minute.

The game’s turning point came in the 81st minute when Gabriel Martinelli netted the decisive goal for Arsenal, marking Manchester United’s second defeat in three pre-season games. Casemiro, a former Real Madrid standout, struggled throughout the first half and was substituted at halftime. His lackluster performance, marked by no chances created, being dribbled past twice, and losing three duels, drew significant criticism from fans.

Rumors have surfaced about Casemiro potentially moving to the Saudi Pro League this summer due to his struggles at Manchester United. Fans on X were vocal about their dissatisfaction. One commented, “Casemiro needs to retire,” while another remarked, “Casemiro is slower than a snail. He should be sent to Greece or Saudi before the season starts.” The critique extended to suggestions that the club consider alternatives like Zubimendi, Ugarte, or Fofana.

The frustration among United fans is evident, with complaints about Casemiro’s inconsistent passing affecting his role. One supporter stated, “Our attack was solid yesterday, but the midfield struggled with possession and ball progression. Hannibal, McTominay, Maguire, Casemiro, and Antony were rubbish,” and another added, “Casemiro must be sold quickly.”

Arsenal, recovering from a 1-1 draw against Bournemouth, secured a victory over Manchester United. Statistics from the match showed Arsenal had 58% possession compared to United’s 42%. Arsenal also attempted more passes, completing 449 with an 84% accuracy rate, while United completed 323 passes at a 76% accuracy rate.

Despite losing Hojlund early, Manchester United managed to create more attacking opportunities, recording ten shots in total, with three on target. Arsenal had six shots, also with three on target.

As the pre-season progresses, Manchester United will aim to bounce back in their upcoming friendly against Real Betis on Wednesday, July 31. Meanwhile, Arsenal will face Liverpool on the same day, looking to build on their recent win.
