According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Monaco has set a €40 million price tag on their defender Vanderson, who is a target for United. Erik ten Hag and Dan Ashworth are focused on strengthening the right side of their defense, particularly with Wan-Bissaka nearing the end of his contract. United are reportedly open to selling Wan-Bissaka for £10 million, despite it being a significant loss from their initial £50 million investment. However, Wan-Bissaka is currently not interested in a move to West Ham.
If Wan-Bissaka leaves, United will likely pursue Vanderson. Romano indicates that Monaco’s high asking price might deter United from finalizing a deal for the Brazilian.
