Man Utd Eye ‘Complete’ £34m Right-Back! 🚨 Manchester United are setting their sights on a dynamic new addition to their squad. The club is reportedly keen on securing a £34 million right-back, renowned for his all-around abilities on the pitch, to bolster their defense. This potential signing is said to complement the already impressive Noussair Mazraoui, creating a formidable duo ready to dominate the right flank. Stay tuned for updates as this thrilling transfer story unfold

Manchester United is intensifying their search for a new right-back as they anticipate Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s potential departure. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Monaco has set a €40 million price tag on their defender Vanderson, who is a target for United. Erik ten Hag and Dan Ashworth are focused on strengthening the right side of their defense, particularly with Wan-Bissaka nearing the end of his contract. United are reportedly open to selling Wan-Bissaka for £10 million, despite it being a significant loss from their initial £50 million investment. However, Wan-Bissaka is currently not interested in a move to West Ham.

If Wan-Bissaka leaves, United will likely pursue Vanderson. Romano indicates that Monaco’s high asking price might deter United from finalizing a deal for the Brazilian. With Diogo Dalot winning the club’s player of the year award, the need for a new right-back could have been less pressing, but Wan-Bissaka’s contract situation has forced United to consider their options.

Wan-Bissaka, signed for £50 million in 2019, has just one year left on his contract, and United’s management wants to recoup some of their expenditure rather than losing him for free next summer. However, Wan-Bissaka is not inclined towards a move to West Ham, who had shown interest.

West Ham had shifted their focus to Noussair Mazraoui, but that move fell through, leading United to intensify their interest in Vanderson. The Monaco defender, praised as a “complete full-back,” made 20 Ligue 1 appearances last season and is viewed as a potential upgrade for United’s current squad. Romano suggests that Monaco is reluctant to sell Vanderson and demands around €40 million, making the transfer complex.

Vanderson offers a different skill set compared to Wan-Bissaka, being used frequently as a wing-back for Monaco, which could enhance United’s attacking options but might impact their defensive stability. Besides Vanderson, United is also eyeing Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries, an offensive right-back who contributed to eight goals last season. A potential swap deal involving Wan-Bissaka and Dumfries is being discussed, with Inter showing interest in Wan-Bissaka, who reciprocates the interest. If Wan-Bissaka continues to reject other Premier League offers, negotiating a swap with Inter could be a viable solution for United.
